A group of men and women in the Eugene Mission’s Life Change Program have discovered that community is everything when it comes to healing addiction.

John Wilson thought he needed a job, quick. After a few days in the Eugene Mission’s Rescue Shelter, he realized he needed a lot more and that the R3 Program was his path forward.

A former pastor-turned-drug-dealer found grace and a new life at the Eugene Mission. This Christmas, he’s anticipating the joy of seeing family, enjoying his newfound sobriety and brimming with Hope.

Patty, now a participant in the women’s Life Change Program, had lost hope, lost touch with her family and had sunk into drug addiction. Her incredible story will give you hope that with God, “all things are possible.”

Jeffrey, pictured right, had given up hope after his wife died, and he sank into substance abuse. After graduating from the men’s Life Change Program, he found new life and a beautiful future after grief.

R3 graduate Rebecca says coming to the Eugene Mission was a “lifesaving decision” for her.
