24 Hours on the Bench
From noon on October 8 to noon on October 9, 2026, the bench never goes quiet. You can drop in anytime, whether that's for one conversation or the whole 24 hours. We’ll be adding the names of our bench participants to this lineup, so make sure to check back!
Kickoff Ceremony
Join us for an inspiring kickoff ceremony including the singing of the National Anthem, remarks by the Eugene Mission Board and a few special appearances.

Mythbusters!
Every two hours, beginning at 2 p.m., we’ll address common myths we hear about the Eugene Mission and the challenges of homelessness. Heard a myth you’d like addressed? Email julieb@eugenemission.org and we’ll discuss it!
Candlelight Remembrance
At midnight, we will gather for a solemn remembrance of those whom we’ve lost to homelessness and addiction.
There will be a reading of names, a luminary ceremony where we’ll light candles and musical selections.

Sunrise Celebration
The Sunrise Celebration is a time of worship and joy acknowledging the Hope we have in the face of our pain and challenges. Guest worship leaders will lead us in singing and prayer.
